Clear, fair, and automatic. Every STENCIL booking enforces these policies for you — so deposits are protected, no-shows drop, and both artist and client know exactly where they stand.
Policies below are defaults — each artist sets their own deposit, reschedule and refund terms, shown at booking.
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm every booking. The deposit is applied to your final session total. Deposit amounts are set per artist and shown before you pay.
Need to move your appointment? Reschedule for free up to 48 hours before your session and your deposit carries over. Inside 48 hours, a new deposit may be required.
You can cancel any time from your client portal. Deposits are non-refundable, but cancellations made 7+ days out may be eligible for partial credit at the artist's discretion.
Missing your appointment without notice forfeits your deposit. Arriving more than 20 minutes late may shorten or forfeit your session to protect other clients' bookings.
Deposits are non-refundable except where required by law or when an artist cancels on you — in which case your deposit is refunded in full, automatically.
All clients must be 18+ with valid ID and complete a digital consent and health form before the needle touches skin. Sessions may be declined if requirements aren't met.
